May: BANABA, LEMON, AND HONEY TEA

The leaves of the beautiful banaba tree have been used as tea for centuries as it offers various health benefits, including helping regulate blood sugar, and increasing metabolism.
Ingredients:
2 tsp cleaned and dried Banaba Leaves
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp honey
Instructions:
1. Clean the banaba leaves. Cut them into 2-inch wide pieces. Place them in a dehydrator for about 8 hours. (To retain its nutrients, never dry your leaves under the sun.) Once dry, place the leaves in a bag, and crush them. Then transfer to a container.
2. To make tea, place 2 tsp of the dried banaba leaves in a tea infuser. Place the infuser in a cup.
3. Boil 2 cups of water, then pour it over the infuser.
4. Steep for about 4 minutes. Remove the infuser, then add lemon and honey.
