Pulp & Pigment hosts Art Pouring Party to celebrate its 3rd Year Anniversary
Friday, July 15, 2022— Pulp & Pigment, a creative lifestyle store in San Juan City, celebrated its third anniversary in partnership with Liquitex – a leading acrylic artist paint brand made in France. Attendees gathered to enjoy an incredible acrylic pouring party with award-winning artist Jo Uygongco. This workshop is intended for those who love art but haven’t tried painting or are intimidated to pick up a medium.
Picking colors and mixing your paint with pouring medium
“It’s a bit messy, but it’s fun and therapeutic, it also teaches you a lot about letting go in terms of design,” quoted by Nancy Encinares, National Sales & Marketing Manager of International Fine Paper Exchange during her opening remarks.
Protip: Create multi-colored compositions in one pouring, by prepping several colors together – better if it’s a combination of muted and whites. Apply the next color directly after the first pour to achieve sharp rainbow dots or concentric circles. Don’t forget to be generous in adding your pouring medium to ensure even results.
The Liquitex product range is all about giving artists freedom to make art without worrying about their materials, artists can use Liquitex safe in the knowledge that each product is intermixable and safe, even more so when their new range of cadmium-free colours is launched in 2017.
